After graduating from university, Wai Chi Ho joins the police force. Under the guidance of his superior, Lam Man Kong, Wai works hard and is thought highly of by his seniors. Learning from Wong Chuen that a gang is going to rob a jewelry workshop, Wai goes with his men to trap them. When the robbers are about to act, Wai discovers that they carry grenades, and in order to escape, they take someone hostage. Lam arrives at the scene.
