Giulia seems to have fallen into a deep depression: she cannot accept the truth about the man she loves. In the meantime, Luca has arrested the drug dealer Nardi, who has sent his protégé Damiano to the hospital, beating him bloody. At the police station, while Luca is interrogating him, Nardi collapses and dies. The officer is suspended and investigated by two disciplinary inspectors for homicide.
